Our mini golf pop-up in the grounds of Yorkshire Wildlife Park is a great experience for the whole family, whether you’re looking for a fun diversion during your visit or just some mini golf fun! The two 18-hole courses cater to both younger players and seasoned mini-golf fans - a memorable part of your day at the park.

Golden Putter at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

The Golden Putter features 36 holes spread across two distinct courses. One of the courses is more level and ideal for families and beginners, while the second offers a more intricate layout for those seeking a steeper test.

18 of the holes are wheelchair accessible, making the course inclusive and enjoyable for all ability levels. The layout is thoughtfully landscaped, with water features, fountains, and decorative elements that enhance the playing experience.

On average, a group of four completing 18 holes takes around 45 minutes, though playtimes may vary.

Driving

Enter postcode DN9 3QY for your sat-nav to reach the Yorkshire Wildlife Park’s new car park entrance. It’s accessible from both the A1 and M1 via the M18. Exit the M18 at Junction 3, follow signs for the airport, then continue along the Great Yorkshire Way (A6182). At the second roundabout take the first exit, and at the next roundabout take the first exit onto Hurst Lane.

Continue across the railway bridge, then at the roundabout take the left lane and first exit. Once inside, follow directional signage to The Yorkshire Hive, where the Golden Putter is located.

The First Bus 357 service travels directly to Yorkshire Wildlife Park and The Yorkshire Hive, operating hourly every day of the week.
